Week 4 of Pregnancy
By the end of the 4th week of pregnancy you will have missed your period. This is due to the fertilized egg implanting in the uterus, dividing in half. One half sticks to the uterine wall and becomes the placenta. This placenta is the life support system which brings nourishment to your baby and also takes waste out. The other half will become the baby.
Changes in your body at Week 4 of Pregnancy
By week 4 you are probably beginning to feel tired. You might experience the need to urinate more frequently as well as mood swings. Other symptoms’ often include tender or swollen breasts all of which are pregnancy symptoms.

Week four of pregnancy is the beginning of the embryonic period which is where the blastocyst begins to transform into an embryo. This period is when the baby’s brain begins to form as does its heart, spinal cord and other organs.
