Trying To Get Pregant

Becoming a mother is an experience that all most every woman wants to experience, so as becoming a father.

Getting pregnant seems very easy for some people while for others it takes months trying and trying and finally takes years. At last ends up creating problems in their life.

Why am I not getting pregnant? This question comes to the mind of those who are not conceiving after trying for so long. Just do not stop your thinking in that question, which mostly ends up being stress that makes you more difficult to get your dreams come true. So go further and find out the answer for the question of WHY?

Here are some of the things that you can do when trying to become pregnant.

The first thing you need to do is stop all the contraceptives, if you are using them. Moreover, remember that sometimes it takes time to get pregnant after stopping them.

See an OB/GYN to make sure that your body is ready for a pregnancy.

Stop smoking if you are a smoker. Both male and female, as it changes the cervical mucus in females in such a way that it becomes difficult for the sperm to reach the egg and lower the sperm count in males.

Reduce your stress, as it reduces the chances of conceiving.

Reduce the amount of taking caffeine drinks like coffee, tea, coke etc. as they reduce the chances for getting pregnant.

Do not take medications without a doctor’s prescription, or inform the doctor that you are trying for a pregnancy if he is prescribing you some. Because certain medications can, make difficult to conceive or others are not safe to take during pregnancy.

Maintain being in a healthy weight, as sometimes increasing or decreasing from the level weight makes difficult to conceive.

Start taking vitamins such as folic acid, which plays a good role in developing the baby and helps to reduce neutral tube defects up to 70 percent.

Know yourself better. Like how long are your menstruation cycle and when your ovulation days are. It is very important to track the cycle as the egg can ovulate within 12 – 24 hours after it is released from the ovary.

The easiest way is to check your body temperature using a basal thermometer daily in the morning without getting out of bed or making any movement, as it can make difference in the temperature. So keep your thermometer near you before going to sleep. Keep a record of your temperature. You can use a BBT chart (Basal Body Temperature chart), which is free downloadable from the inter net. When taking the record you will find out that, there is a gradual rise in temperature in every month to 10 percent over 24-48 hours before you can ovulate. So by making a record in each month you can track out the ovulation cycle and have sex before you are going to ovulate, to keep the sperm ready for the egg when it is released. This is to increase the chances of getting pregnant ,as sperm can be healthy inside for 2 – 3 days, while the egg to 12 – 24 hours. If you missed these 12 – 24 hours, you cannot conceive. So have sex regularly near the time of ovulation.

Another way of knowing the ovulation cycle is to check your cervical mucus daily. You will find a change in the mucus during the ovulation period.

So get relaxed it will not help you by just getting worried, help each other (husband and wife), and discuss with your doctor about these to make your dreams come trueThis article is free for republishing
