Positive birthing is part of our genetic makeup.

Easy childbirth for the majority should be what we expect

and are educated to understand.

Sadly this is not our everyday reality.

From very early childhood you are taught that labour and birth

are hard, excruciating, and life threatening.

You grow knowing that one day you will have to face this ultimate terror.

This is so brainwashed into us that many of us are choosing to be sliced open

instead of enduring the ‘nightmare’ of natural birth!

Our aim is to help reverse this harmful and debilitating stigma.

Natural birth is amazing and not necessarily so painful that you should

spend 20 something years dreading the experience.

You have the power to change your’s and your baby’s birth experience.

How is it that I believe this?

Let me tell you, I have two amazing boys under 5.

The first one I gave birth to with no sense of my true power to birth naturally.

It was so horrific an experience, I actually rang up an adoption agency

afterwards so my boy could have a brother or sister.

I did not want to give birth again.

The second time around I made the decision to do anything I could not to

have the same experience.

This is the best decision I have made.

The birth of my second boy was so beautiful and truly empowering.

I loved it and could do it again and again. Of these experiences this book is born.

current lives when it comes to childbirth.
