Although the presentation of a small gift for guests in attendance at a child’s religious festival dates back many centuries, it is only in recent years that the custom has become so widespread.
This is no doubt largely due to the huge choice of favours available these days. In essence, anything that a bride and groom may give as a wedding favour could also be used as a Christening or communion favour, depending on the style and colour of course.

Due to the modern nature of this kind of favour, these are always well received by guests – especially younger ones!

Although it is not an expectation, the custom of giving favours is becoming more widespread and many guests admit to looking for a favour.
